In spring 2020, The Better Days Foundation began phase 1 of a sensory garden to be utilized in conjunction with the therapy program and as part of an initiative to increase outdoor and physical activity. The artistic rendering below shows the approximate scale and ideas for phase 1, additional phases and areas will be added as fundraising allows. The thought behind a sensory garden is to promote the enjoyment of nature using multiple senses such as sight, sound, touch, and smell. Fundraising continues for this project if you would like to donate! Vegetables, herbs, plants, and flowers continue to be grown. Maintenance of the garden will continue to include care and watering supported by clients and volunteers for an inclusive experience.
